Seed Innovations™ was established in April 2014, as a division of South Pacific Seed Sales (NZ) Ltd, to treat our own exclusive range of vegetable varieties and to provide seed treatment services, products and analysis for customers throughout New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

SERVICES

At Seed Innovations™ we are able to offer seed treatment services including film coating, encrusting and pelleting of seed lots for growers and farmers nationwide. We can treat a range of seed types including vegetable and arable seed for either pneumatic (vacuum) drilling equipment or the more traditional belt seeders.

At Seed Innovations™ our custom seed processing facility was purpose built and completed in 2014. The application and drying system we use for treating seed lots is state-of-the-art and set up to achieve accurate application of materials and quality assurance targets for treated seed lots. Our seed treatment materials are developed by Incotec^® to ensure the best possible result for the different seed type they are being applied to.

PRODUCTS

In addition to our seed treatment services, Seed Innovations™ is the exclusive distributor of the Incotec^® range of seed treatment technologies. 

By choosing Incotec's^® seed technologies farmers and growers can realise maximum performance potential of their seed genetics right from the start. Incotec^® are constantly optimising their products by developing, testing and updating their formulations so as to provide solutions for virtually all kinds of seed: vegetable, flower and broad acre agricultural crops. The Incotec^® range of products includes the DISCO™ range of film coat formulations: binders and additives including GeniusCoat™.

Seed Innovations™ are proud to partner with world leaders in seed enhancement, Incotec^® , to provide the New Zealand seed industry with the best the world can offer when it comes to analysis of treated seed lots.

Through Incotec^®  accredited laboratory we are able to provide independent testing for chemical loading and dust-off of treated seed lots.
